There is a stream cascading through the garden into the picturesque mill pond enclosure with friendly ornamental ducks. This is a relaxing little oasis and a lovely spot for a picnic or a quiet half hour watching the ducks. Centrally located midway between both the north and south Cornish coast making it perfectly placed for exploring all of Cornwall and Devon too. The riverside village of Calstock nestling on the Tamar River is just a short drive, as is the wild rugged moorland of Bodmin Moor infamous for tales of smuggling at the Jamaica Inn, and the beautiful Dartmoor National Park with its historic market town of Tavistock. Shops, pubs and restaurants 0.5 miles.
