It is situated near to shops, pubs and restaurants (Nathan Outlaw’s restaurant is a minute’s walk), not to mention the Friday night treat of watching the Fishermen’s Friends sing on the harbour. It has a sitting out area which is ideal for alfresco dining. Further up the coast is Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. From Padstow take a ferry across to Rock where there are watersports, or walk or cycle along the Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. Golf at St Enodoc’s championship course is 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
