From here, there are panoramic views over World Heritage ancient fields, the Isles of Scilly and the sea. Facing west, there are spectacular sunsets, and at night the light from five lighthouses can be seen. The small town of St Just, with all its amenities, is only a few minutes’ drive away. The surfing beaches of Sennen, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, the pretty fishing village of Mousehole and St Michaels Mount are all nearby. The Isles of Scilly can be reached from Lands End Airport, or ferry from Penzance. Many galleries, including The Tate St Ives, abound in the area continuing a rich tradition of arts and crafts.
