About this Cottage

Featuring a beautiful indoor swimming pool and separate games room (3 minutes’ walk from the cottage, shared with Cherry Tree Cottage ref TMF and the owners), Penderrow is a spacious house with a large, fully enclosed, lawned garden and is ideal for the larger family or a group of friends (and dogs) enjoying a celebration together. The property is well furnished throughout for a large group and is very flexible in the bedroom accommodation to suit many different sleeping arrangements. The owners, who live close by, are themselves very accommodating and a lovely welcome pack is provided for guests.
This holiday property is one of two situated on a 35-acre smallholding with sheep, horses, chickens and ducks, close to Canworthy Water in the heart of rural Cornwall, and just a short drive from some superb coastal towns and beaches such as Bude and Crackington Haven. The pretty villages of Padstow, where the renowned chef Rick Stein boasts a superb seafood restaurant and deli shop; Port Isaac where Doc Martin was filmed, and Rock are all worth a visit. Mystical Tintagel with the legendary King Arthur’s Castle is close by, whilst the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor are a must for walkers. For a great day out try Crealy Adventure Park and the famous Eden Project. For the outdoor types, Cornwall offers a wide range of activities including coasteering, golf, surfing, scuba diving, walking, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and archery, to name but a few of the wealth of interesting places to visit, eat and drink. Petrol station 4 miles. Shop and pub 4 miles.
