Nearby, Geevor Tin Mine is open to the public and provides a great museum and visitor centre. Trewellard lies between St Just with are galleries, pubs, shops and stunning Cape Cornwall, Pendeen lighthouse and the scenic coastal route to St Ives, voted one of the most stunning in Europe, with heather clad moorland and views to the Isle of Scilly on a clear day. The area is popular with walkers, birdwatchers and provides guests with easy access to the many places of interest in the area, including a number of National Trust properties, Penzance with its long Promenade and open air lido, the quaint fishing harbours of Newlyn and Mousehole, St Michaels Mount and historic town of Marazion. The legendary Lands End, famous surfing beach at Sennen Cove and the Minack open air theatre with the ocean as a back drop at Porthcurno. Trewellard and Pendeen have a number of excellent pubs and restaurants serving great food and local ale. Cafes, food store and post office all close by. Shops 1 mile.
