The Oast House is a historical property located on the edge of Smarden, which thrived as a weaving rown until the 19th century. This property has been beautifully renovated to a high standard and it features oak floors and a half-galleried landing. There are numerous footpaths in the area and fishing is by arrangement. In the nearby area are many National Trust properties and places of interest including Scotney Castle and gardens, and Sissinghurst.
The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with wood burning stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. The lounge area includes a sofa, chairs, TV, wooden floors and a French door to the terrace.
On the first floor are three bedrooms: a double with four-poster bed, a twin room, and a further bedroom that can either be arranged as a double or twin. The family bathroom includes a bath with shower over.
The cottage has a patio area with furniture and barbeque.
Parking is available for three cars.
