About this Cottage

Nestled on a peaceful cul-de-sac of similar prestige properties, Cart-Tws Bach boast a lawned garden, ideal to tire the children and most energetic dogs. Located in the idyllic village of Treffynnon, and just 4 miles away from the tranquil harbour village of Solva, this charming, adjoining holiday home has been presented to the highest standard making it perfect for couples or families looking to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire. Conveniently located close to the Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path, the area is home to golden beaches, crystal waters and scenic countryside providing the ideal destination in which to relax and unwind whatever time of year. The beaches of Newgale and Whitsands are excellent for surf and water sports activities, as is Abereiddy’s glistening Blue Lagoon and Porthgain Harbour, a picturesque coastal village with fantastic cliff top walks and highly acclaimed restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu! The cottage itself has been tastefully presented throughout with a large open-plan living/dining area featuring exposed stone walls, arrow-slit windows and a traditional wood-burning stove which has been added for those cosy nights in. The contemporary, spacious kitchen boasts a breakfast bar and stylish range oven for home cooking, whilst the French doors from the dining area opens out onto the enclosed patio area which is perfect for al fresco dining on a sunny day. For an adventure day out, visit the historic city of St David’s and discover its magnificent 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishops Palace, or take a sea trip safari around the off-shore island of Ramsey cruising close to grey seals, rare sea birds and the occasional dolphin. A visit to Pembrokeshire would not be complete without a trip to its majestic sites of the west including Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier castles, or a trip to the award-wining leisure attractions of Oakwood, Folly Farm and Anna’s Welsh Zoo located in the south of the county near the popular tourist resort of Tenby. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
