Set in private gardens overlooking the Cleveland Way and affording panoramic sea views across Scarborough and out towards Filey Brigg is this unique detached holiday property. The garden provides secret little seating areas and catches the sun throughout the day, there’s a summer house with children’s toys and games and a stunning roof terrace providing the perfect place for alfresco dining or just to sit back, relax, unwind and escape the rigours of every day life. Located along the quiet Filey Road, it’s perfect for that long awaited family get together or for that special celebration with easy access to the heart of the elegant seaside resort and the award winning sandy beaches. The colourful promenade provides for the perfect family day out with eating houses, tea rooms, a fun fair and Peasholm Park providing orchestral entertainment throughout the season. The 12th century castle ruins and St Mary’s church are a must. There’s an eclectic mix of shops and the town centre is home to the Stephen Joseph Theatre, art galleries and museums. Scarborough is also home to an 18-hole golf course just a few minutes drive from the door. Visit Dalby Forest, home to world mountain bike events, where live music concerts are held, with children’s play areas and areas for picnics with barbecues provided, Go Ape and cycle tracks to suit all ages. The east coast of Yorkshire is surrounded with historic homes halls and castles, Burton Agnes Hall boasts a large collection of Renoir and Monet art with Sewerby Hall and Gardens in Bridlington easily accessible. A more sophisticated day can be enjoyed at the walled city of York with its magnificent Minster and many attractions approximately 1 hours drive. Take a trip into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, discovering quaint little villages tucked away deep in the valleys, or visit the ancient sea port of Whitby and board the steam train for a memorable journey through the glorious Esk Valley into ‘Heartbeat’s’ well known villages of Goathland and Grosmont. Market towns of Pickering, Malton, Helmsley and Kirkby Moorside are close by. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
