About this Cottage

Located in the secluded hamlet of Littlebeck, within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, these prestigious detached holiday properties are set in 6 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, home to an abundance of wildlife. Outside of the hamlet, the steep winding roads and hills open onto the moorland where breath taking scenery can be enjoyed from the many bridle and cycle tracks. Discover quaint little villages tucked away deep in valleys where friendly locals wait to greet you and where some of Yorkshire’s finest cuisine can be enjoyed from the inns and tea rooms dotted across the moors. Ideally located for exploring the Heritage coast of Yorkshire with the ancient seaport of Whitby just 5 miles, known for its connections with Captain James Cook, 3 miles of sandy beaches and a bustling harbour all overlooked by the Abbey ruins. The NYM steam train departs from Whitby throughout the season and takes a memorable journey through the glorious Esk valley into Heartbeat villages of Grosmont and Goathland. Smugglers coves of Robin Hoods Bay and Runswick bay are easily reached, where fossil hunting and rock pooling will entertain the children for hours. Market towns, such as Pickering, Malton and Helmsley are all easily reached. Visit some of the many historic homes, halls and castles that surround this area returning at the end of your day to the peace and tranquillity on offer in Littlebeck. Good pubs/restaurants locally. Shops 2 miles.
