Welcome to Old Manse B&B in Pickering, North Yorkshire. Our delightful property has many original features, including a large garden and orchard. This family friendly hotel is situated just a few minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Station and the town centre of Pickering, so we are the perfect base from which to explore the local areas. The AA and English Tourism Council have awarded us two star status.
This Edwardian house offers a wide range of comfortable rooms - all of which are beautifully decorated and play host to a selection of homely amenities.
There are 10 charming bedrooms, each complimented by their own immaculate en-suite bathroom. Every room has a TV as well as a hospitality tray, perfect for snuggling down to a hot drink and your favourite programme in your comfortable bed.
There are two ground floor en-suite rooms, one of which was purpose built for disabled access. All rooms have wireless broadband available
All guests are treated to a hearty breakfast every morning and we can provide evening meals if required. Our dining room offers both dinner and bar menu of the highest quality cuisine. We use fresh ingredients, cooked to your specifications by Val and Colin Gardner, qualified and trained in three and four star hotels with many years of experience. We can cater for special diets and needs. We can cater for up to 30 people in pleasant surroundings.
Although we do not have a bar we do have an alcohol license and have a very nice and varied selection of wines.
Our comfortable lounge and air conditioned conservatory is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a busy day. On a sunny evening you can take a drink on our terrace which overlooks our beautiful gardens.
We are pleased to welcome cyclists and bikers from all over the world and have a secure garage in which to keep your cycles,
Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. We have parking for up to 12 cars.
We are open throughout the year.
