The New Forest National Park has lots to do with popular villages and towns to visit, and see the famous free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle. Visit Downton in Wiltshire, 5 miles, with the nearest supermarket, as well as Fordingbridge, with its riverside location and individual shops, pubs and a café to enjoy. The coastline, with its award-winning beaches at Bournemouth and Poole is within easy reach, as is the city of Salisbury with its medieval cathedral. Riding school in Hale.
