The Wolds Way is close by and there is an abundance of walking and cycling tracks from the doorstep. Sledmere village (2 miles) has a renowned pub serving food and Sledmere House is a charming stately home with an 18th-century walled rose garden. Further historic houses can be found at Burton Agnes, Sewerby and Burton Constable. Just a 30-minute drive leads to the east coast, with miles of sandy beaches and traditional resorts including Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. Flamborough with its lighthouse and RSPB Bempton are easily accessible. The market town of Beverley (17 miles) and historic York (24 miles) are not to be missed. Stabling and grazing available by arrangement for guests bringing their own horses. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
