About this Cottage

This end terrace, ex-miners holiday cottage has extensive raised decking to the rear, taking advantage of the stunning coastal views and is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring. The area was once a thriving tin mining area, visible today by its many engine houses dotted around the coastline, including the famous Crown Mines and Geevor Mine open to the public with museum, shop and mine trips. Take an open top bus ride to appreciate the stunning scenery, visit nearby Pendeen Light House or the beautiful rugged Cape Cornwall with its dramatic coastline and coastal pathways. For golfers there is Cape Cornwall Golf Club. Nearby St Just with its busy square provides an array of local shops including butchers, bakers, fresh veg, deli, supermarket, PO, numerous art and craft shops, local art galleries, 3 pubs (all serving food), café’s and tea rooms. The location is perfect for exploring the many delights of West Cornwall including Lands End, the romantic Minack Theatre, beautiful Sennen Cove with its white sand beach popular with surfers, the quaint harbours of Mousehole and fish market at Newlyn. The scenic coastal route from Pendeen to St Ives is spectacular, passing the heather clad moorland, the tiny village of Zenoe with its historical church and mermaid tales. The picturesque harbour and town of St Ives provides winding streets with al fresco café’s and waterside restaurants. Art galleries including the Tate Modern and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Penzance is close by with shops, restaurants, supermarkets, harbour and long promenade with Lido.
