Adjoining the 400 year old farmhouse of Erw Goed, Erw Goed Hen Stabl (the old stable) has been restored to provide comfortable holiday accommodation. Set in the Snowdonia National Park in a beautiful and secluded location, it is close to many popular tourist attractions. The market town of Dolgellau, 6 miles, and 3 miles from the sandy beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth. Cadair Idris is 4 miles, whilst Coed-y-Brenin offers good walks and mountain biking. Just a stone’s throw from the Mawddach Estuary. The owners keep bees, and honey and beeswax products are available. The owners produce their own eggs as well, and attend a local produce market every Thursday. The owners will purchase some local produce and leave it in the cottage for guests arrival on request, by prior arrangement. Guests have access to the 12-acre smallholding and woodland and there is a camp fire site available for outdoor cooking or camp fires. Dogs are very welcome, however please note there are free-range ducks and chickens in the gardens. Shop and pub 2½ miles.
