About this Bed and Breakfast

Situated in the quaint village of Goathland and ideally placed for exploring the North Yorkshire moorlands, The Beacon Guesthouse is a 3 star bed and breakfast nestled on the edge of the village common. Brimming with heritage and charm, the guest house is a former Victorian country home with landscaped gardens and friendly customer service. We are only a short drive from the popular seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough and boast a fantastic location for keen walkers and cyclists. Delicious home cooked breakfasts and a range of lighter cooked and cold options are served each morning.

We offer a range of lovingly decorated double, twin and family guest rooms, most of which have fantastic views over the countryside and local village. Our en-suite bedrooms have full central heating, a colour TV and a well stocked hospitality tray. We also offer a family room which comprises a 6ft bed and bunk beds, sleeping two adults and two children, plus a cot if required. The rooms retain their original elegance and are very spacious, making a perfect base for you to come back to after a long day of exploring. All bed linen and towels are provided on your arrival. For those seeking more privacy, we have a further two en-suite double rooms in our converted barn annex. One of the rooms is wheelchair accessible with a walk in shower, shower seat and grab rails in the en-suite.
