About this Cottage

This traditional Welsh stone end-terraced house tumbles down the hillside below the road, and has views of the Moelwyn Mountains. There is an original fireplace and a lovely covered verandah outside from which to admire the view, and a natural garden with a stream. Ideal for walkers and climbers, this former slate mining town is also an excellent holiday base for exploring the area. With the Ffestiniog Railway and Llechwedd Slate Caverns locally, it is only a short drive to Porthmadog, Betws-y-Coed, or Black Rock Sands beach. Shops, restaurants and pubs within 3/4 mile.

Ground floor: Living room with beams and laminate floor/kitchen with tiled floor. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (zip and link, can be twin), 1 bunk. Shower room with toilet.

Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Gas CH, gas, elec, bed linen and towels inc. T/cot. H/chair. Freesat TV. DVD and small library. CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. M/wave. W/machine. F/freezer. Natural garden with verandah and furniture. Private parking for 1 car, 30 yards. No smoking. NB: Stream, pond and slopes in the garden.
