This detached holiday cottage is set within 4 acres of grounds which has views of Pen y Fan and the Brecon Beacons, adjacent to the owner’s home, with its own small, enclosed private garden. The National Botanical Gardens, the beach and castle at Llansteffan are just a short drive. The National Botanical Gardens have ‘doggy days’ on Mondays where you can take your dog free of charge to delight in the beautiful gardens. Right on the doorstep is Dinefwr Castle and Country Park, a national nature reserve, historic house and 18th century landscaped park, enclosing a medieval deer park. It has acres of countryside trails, café and gift shop, dogs are always welcome on a lead.
Guests can enjoy the beaches at Tenby, Saundersfoot and the Gower coast - Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pembrey County Park is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Gower Peninsula, and is one of Wales’s top attractions. With its 8 miles of golden sands (7 miles of which is dog friendly all year round), 550 acres of idyllic woodlands, the longest toboggan run in Wales, forest adventure playground and wildlife trails. The market towns of Brecon, Llandovery and Llandeilo are within easy driving. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Towy nearby. Shops 1 mile, pub 1½ miles.
