Walk the bridle paths or hire a bike and take one of the cycle tracks around the holiday cottage. The Lyke Wake walk is also within 1 mile. A short drive brings you to the historic port of Whitby where James Cook set sail on his epic journey of discovery. Shops and pubs 2 miles.
