Views of Black Coombe Fell
Set on the western coast of the Lake District National Park, Silecroft is a quiet village, which boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The beach has won awards for its cleanliness and safety and it has an uncluttered sea front, which allows for undisturbed enjoyment of the part sandy beach and rock pools. The generously proportioned holiday home is semi-detached on two sides and is just a quarter of a mile from the beach and views from the house take in the magnificent Black Coombe Fell. Coastal sounds and smells and excellent fell walking ensures visitors can enjoy the best of both aspects of this less congested part of the Lake District. Coniston Lake, 14 miles is a scenic drive away, which leads onto the busier central lakes. The interesting market towns of Broughton in Furness and Ulverston are a 20 minute drive.
