Slightly further afield are Barmouth, with its marvellous sandy beach, Portmeirion, the North Wales Coast, Wrexham, Chester and the castles at Caernarfon, Conwy and Harlech. There are pleasant walks close by and many outdoor pursuits, other activities and places of interest are available in the area. The local village is 1 mile away and includes a Michelin starred restaurant, a pub and the village shop.
