Overlooking Saltwick Bay and Whitby Abbey, our Whitby Holiday Park is a great place to stay at any time of the year and spectacularly situated alongside the Cleveland Way running through the park. Stunning coastal walking and beaches are just on your doorstep and the park is only a short stroll from Whitby town centre and the Abbey. Explore the North York Moors National Park or head off to pretty Robin Hood's Bay only a few miles away. Onsite facilities are extensive and include a well-stocked shop, free WiFi, a cafe, laundry and a children's playground.
Holiday caravans come in a range of different configurations, sleeping between four and eight people. They're all well-equipped, and they come with modern conveniences including Freesat TV and, in our Platinum properties, iPod docks. Accommodation is available suitable for guests with limited mobility featuring ramp access and additional mobility aids as well as walk-in showers.
Pet Friendly Caravans
We have a selection of two bedroom pet friendly caravans - choose from 10 or 12 foot wide models, all with double glazing, central heating and a flat-screen TV. Guests are permitted to bring 1 pet with them (a second pet is by arrangement with the manager only).
Two or 3 bed caravans offering spacious accommodation. Two bed caravans are perfect for couples or families with young children. Three bed caravans have 2 shower rooms and are ideal for couples sharing or families with older children. All include gas central heating, double glazing, a flat-screen TV/ DVD and a modern well equipped kitchen.
All touring pitches come with 16 amp electric hook-ups and are within easy reach of park amenities. Many have spectacular views of the coast.
We are able to accommodate pets in some of our caravans, including in some accommodation suitable for guests with limited mobility. We have a touring park where certain breeds of dog are also accepted.
Whitby Holiday Park is open from 1st March to October/ November, weather permitting.

A path leads directly down from the holiday park to Sandsend with its stunning beaches, coastal walks and cosy cafes. Move on to beautiful Runswick Bay with its wide sandy beach accessed via a steep lane down to the village which sits on the edge of the bay.
Other coastal highlights nearby include pretty Staithes village with its cluster of fisherman's cottages and historic harbour. Hire bikes from Trailways Cycle Hire near the park and don't miss a ride on the scenic North Yorkshire Moors steam railway.
Whitby with its year round festivals, famous Abbey ruins, Captain Cook Museum and wide choice of restaurants, inns and cafes is within easy reach.
Great cycling is on offer in nearby Dalby Forest and the Park is within easy driving distance of York, Castle Howard and Scarborough.
