A dog friendly 16th Century thatched inn on the Jurassic Coast, The Crown @ Puncknowle village is a real gem just 5 miles from Bridport and close to Chesil beach. Perfect for coastal walking and holidays with your furry four legged friend, guests are assured of a warm welcome in this cosy inn with a roaring open fire, comfy leather sofa seating and traditional pub games. Delicious menu choices feature local produce, from local suppliers - ranging from Dorset meats and South Coast fish to West Country cheeses - and fine real ales from local Palmers Brewery House. In November 2013, the team at the Crown opened a community village shop on-site which sells local meat and fish, fruit and vegetables, frozen and fresh foods, tins and everyday household items. Open 7 days a week, you can be sure that all your needs are catered for!
