About this Holiday Cottage

Anchor Cottage in Wroxham occupies a scenic location alongside the River Bure. It's ideal for families and groups looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Norfolk Broads. Whether it's fishing, boating, visiting the local pubs, or just feeding the ducks and swans, you won't be short of things to do. Also close to the village is the Bure Railway, stunning stately homes and the bustling city of Norwich.


The ground floor of the cottage features a large lounge area with a waterside facing bay window, comfortable sofa and chairs, a 32 inch flat screen TV with DVD player, an electric flame effect fire, and patio doors leading to the garden.

Open plan to the lounge is the dining area which has seating for eight to nine people. From here is access to the fully equipped kitchen which features a built in cooker and hob, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. A small chest freezer is in the garage.

There's also storage area in the hallway a vacuum cleaner and high chair.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

On the first floor is a double bedroom and two twin rooms. The family bathroom is fully tiled and includes a bath with shower over, a toilet and washbasin.

The second floor features an en-suite master bedroom with a king size bed. A cot can also be provided in this room if required.


The cottage has a waterside patio garden and furniture is provided. It's the perfect place to come and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining as the sun sets.

A private mooring is available for your own boat or one that you've hired. Parking for two cars is also provided.

Other Things to Note

Guests can take advantage of free, unlimited Wi-Fi access. 

Subject to a rod licence, private fishing is available from the garden.

The cottage doesn't have a washing machine, though a modern laundrette is only 50 metres away.


Breaks begin on either a Friday or Monday.
