Tulach Ard Guest House provides superior Speyside accommodation; a bed and breakfast nestled in Grantown-on-Spey a thriving historical highland town, providing idyllic Scottish scenery....yet in the very heart of Scottish Highlands amongst all the major historical, cultural and visual attractions.  It's a perfect base for touring Scottish Highlands.

The guest house is also well positioned for fishing, birdwatching, and even a few rounds of golf. Mountain Biking, Mountain Views, Speyside Whisky and so much more

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Gold Room – Superb Ground Floor room with a large wooden double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and chairs. There's also an en-suite bathroom featuring a bath and shower.

East Wing Room - Twin room on the first floor benefiting from plenty of natural light. Two single beds, double mirrored wardrobe and spacious en-suite shower room.

West Wing Room - Warm and cosy twin room featuring: en-suite bathroom, generous wardrobe space and two single beds.

Egyptian Cotton linen, towels are provided for you. Fridge, Flat screen TV, Iron, Hairdryer, Wi-Fi. Laundry facilities also available.


Tulach Ard Guest House uses the finest local produce for breakfast and has been awarded ‘Taste the Best’ Award having exceeded expectation. The menu is extensive and includes a traditional highland cooked breakfast; lighter options; regional Haggis and black pudding; cereal; fresh butter croissants, and toast with homemade preserves.

There's also a choice of fruit juice, fresh ground coffee, breakfast tea and hot chocolate.

From the north:
From Inverness take the A9 southbound towards Aviemore, turning left following direction to Carrbridge. Follow A938 to Dulnain Bridge onto A95 turning left. Pass Craggan Outdoors and Golf Club, before taking the B9102 into Grantown-on-Spey. The guest house is half a mile from here on the right after CraigLynne on left and Grant Park on right.

From the south:
From Perth, take the A9 northbound heading towards Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park.  Pass by Aviemore and the Strathspey Railway, turning right onto the A95 at Granish, just before Kinveachy Forest.  Pass by Avielochan, Boat of Garten and Craggan Outdoors & Golf Club, before taking the B9102 into Grantown on Spey. The guest house is half a mile from here on the right after CraigLynne on left and Grant Park on right.
