Located in 25 acres of woodland in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, Shireburne Fold is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.
Our caravans sleep six with two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. They are fully double glazed and centrally heated. The master bedrooms have an en-suite toilet (except our WCF caravan). The second rooms have twin beds. The family bathrooms have a large shower alongside the toilet and sink. The fully equipped kitchens feature a full sized oven with hob, fridge and freezer and microwave.
Our luxury Gold Standard caravan features a dining area, complete with a table and four chairs whilst the contemporary lounge has comfy seating with a flat-screen TV, Blue Ray player and an electric fire. The patio doors open on to a balcony with out-door seating. Our Silver Standard and WCF caravans feature a mixture of fixed and loose chairs in the dining area while the cosy lounges have comfy seating with a flat-screen TV, DVD and an electric fire.
New For 2015 – our Wheel Chair Friendly (WCF) caravan comes complete with wet room, large, airy bedrooms and a portable helper frame in the master bedroom.
There is an on-site, coin operated launderette for those longer stays. Our Victorian Manor House provides a friendly meeting point for a residents on the park and guests. The bar is open Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Just a couple of miles away is the village of Waddington which has won the “Best Kept Village in Lancashire” award several years running. There are several friendly pubs which serve delicious food within walking distance of Shireburne Park. The market town of Clitheroe is also only one mile away and features many events throughout the year such as Ribble Valley Jazz festival and the renowned Food festival.
The caravans are non-smoking throughout, with all bed linen and towels provided. Please note, we can only take dogs in our Silver and WCF caravan but not in our luxury Gold caravan.

Shireburne Park is perfectly located for walking and touring the Forest of Bowland, the Yorkshire Dales and Pendle Hill with its tales of The Pendle Witches. The Ingleton Waterfalls Walk, White Scar Cave and the Settle-Carlisle Railway are all within easy reach. The ancient market town of Clitheroe is just a mile away, with its magnificent Norman Keep which has recently undergone a massive £2m renovation thanks to funding from the National Lottery.
Featured in the Ribble Valley Food Trail, this bustling town is full of local shops and cafes. There is also a flourishing market (Mon, Thur and Sat) as well as several well-known supermarkets.
