Tastefully furnished throughout, the cottage provides an ideal retreat for couples and honeymooners and is the perfect central base for exploring the National Park fells and villages.
The cottage is pet friendly, welcoming up to two well behaved dogs to join you on your holiday and has an outdoor seating area, acres of surrounding countryside, gardens and private parking.
Fitting to its Lakeland surroundings, the cottage is set on one level and has a lake stone interior feature wall with fireplace and exposed wooden ceiling beams.
The open plan lounge diner features comfortable sofas, a TV with DVD player and patio door access to a private raised patio. There is a dining table with seating for two people.
The kitchen boasts views across the Lake District countryside and fells surroundings. The room is fitted with state of the art appliances and utilities inclusive of a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The cottage has a generously sized double bedroom with a king size bed and full bedroom furnishings and access to a modern and fully tiled bathroom.
The bathroom features a luxurious round Jacuzzi bathtub.
Enjoy the stunning Lake District surroundings from the raised patio area complete with outdoor furnishings and a BBQ. There is also a beautifully landscaped private garden set down from the patio.
Bed linen is provided for your arrival and all bills are included in the property rental price. Please bring your own towels. Private parking is also available for one car outside the cottage.
There is an outside laundry available in the stable block with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ample storage for bikes, canoes or small boats.
We welcome one well behaved dog to join you’re on your holiday at an additional fee of £20 but ask that you contact us in advance.

Short breaks of three nights or more are available off peak.
Occupying a location at the mouth of Langdale Valley, the cottage is in the ideal position for keen walkers and boasts an abundance of activities including walks up Loughrigg and surrounding fells or a stroll along the shore of Rydal water with its caves and woodland trails.
Nearby Grizedale Forest has plenty of activities running throughout the year including cycle and mountain biking trails and the tree top rope course, Go Ape.
There are a number of quaint Lakeland villages within a short drive of the cottage including Ambleside and Grasmere. Both of which have a number of craft shops, outdoor shops, galleries and pubs to explore.
