Nestled in the picture postcard village of Maidencombe is The Thatched Tavern, a hidden gem of a pub offering great guest accommodation. Not only is it in the heart of the Torbay countryside but the beautiful beach is 300 metres away. Sit down for a meal and enjoy great flavours and fresh produce from local suppliers – all cooked to order by the Head Chef and his talented team. Real ale, lager and an extensive wine list can all be ordered from the bar.
The Thatched Tavern has two cosy double guest rooms. You’ll find them on the first floor of the original 17th century Grade II listed cottage part of the building. Bedrooms include flat screen Freeview TVs, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers, Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, bathrooms, slippers and luxury toiletries. To quench your thirst, a wide selection of beverages, bottled water and a decanter of sherry are also provided. Don’t worry about rushing in the morning as breakfast is served at a time to suit you, there’s an extensive range of dishes for all tastes.

Weddings and functions can also be hosted at The Thatched Tavern with catering for 12 to 150 people. It's entirely up to you how you want things, whether in the pub, garden or both.
