The perfect gateway into the Lake District National Park, Two Acres Bed and Breakfast sits within walking distance of Levens Hall and is just a stone's throw from Kendal, Cartmel, Windermere and the M6, junction 36. Whether you're looking for a great activity holiday base, relaxing break or ideal travel stopover, Two Acres is a perfect option.
We have three guest rooms:
Room 1 - a king-size double en-suite.
Room 2 - a king-size double with shared shower room.
Room 3 - a twin room with shared bathroom.
All three rooms include WiFi, tea/ coffee making facilities, televisions with Freeview and alarm clocks.
Additional fresh towels, ironing facilities and hair dryer can also be provided on request.
Rooms 2 and 3 only share the bathroom if we are fully booked.
Our locally sourced breakfast menu includes Full English cooked breakfast with Cumberland sausage and free range eggs. Both a vegetarian and vegan cooked breakfast options are available, with cereals, tea/ coffee, juices and a selection of lighter breakfast options also on the menu.
Free parking, WiFi, bike storage and laundry facilities are all available if required and we'll happily store baggage. available on request.
Children are welcome are charged at £15 per night during off peak times and £20 per night at all other times.
Please note we do not accept pets. Check in time is between 3pm and 9pm with check out time by 10am.

We are situated just fifteen minutes from Lake Windermere with the Yorkshire Dales and Bowness on Windermere to be found twenty minutes away.
Attractions and amenities close by include Sizergh Castle, Force Falls and friendly country inn the Strickland Arms serving fine food and ales. Public transport links into the Lakes are just a short stroll away.
Leave the motorway at Junction 36 and take the exit signposted Kendal and the Lakes. After approx 6 miles take the exit signposted A590 Barrow and then take the 1st exit on the roundabout. Force Lane is approximately 400m on the left and can be easily missed, look for the bus stop on the left and the lane is immediately after the bus stop. We are 50m down the lane on the right, look for the large blue double gates.
Head out of Kendal along the A591 towards Lancaster. Approx 4 miles out of Kendal you will see sign for Barrow A590 at the roundabout take the third exit towards Barrow. Force Lane is approximately 400m on the left and is easily missed, look for the bus stop on the left and the lane is immediately after the bus stop. We are 50m down the lane on the right, look for he large blue double gates.
