Our three guest rooms have been tastefully decorated, furnished to a high standard and feature en-suites.
The Temeraire is a spacious bedroom with a king size bed, two-seater sofa and a large bay window overlooking the front garden.
The Bellerophon has twin beds and overlooks the back garden – be on the lookout for the heron and foxes at play.
The Putting Green is a double that is also let for single occupancy.
Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a hospitality tray with a selection of teas, filter coffee, home-made biscuits and sweets, chocolates and bottled water. All towels and bed-linen are 100% Egyptian cotton.
Breakfast at Cedar House is a meal we take great pride in and is served in our spacious dining room overlooking the front garden. It features home-made bread, freshly-prepared fruit salad, and traditional speciality breakfast dishes, such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on homemade muffins, smoked haddock with poached egg and our very own creations: Eggs Nero and Eggs Louise. Don’t worry, we also offer the traditional full English breakfast, prepared wherever possible with locally sourced, free-range and organic produce.
Parking is available on the drive and guests arriving between 4pm and 6pm are welcomed in the dining room with tea or coffee and home made cakes
We are ideally located for visiting Kent and the South-East of England, being just 30 minutes from Canterbury, 35 minutes from central London and a short drive from the Eurotunnel and Channel Ports. Numerous historic country houses, gardens and castles of the National Trust and English Heritage are close by.
Please note that a minimum two stay applies at the weekend. For one night stays during the week, please contact us directly. We do not accept children under the age of 12 years.
We are just off the B2079 (known locally as the Rochester Maidstone Road), which is easily accessible from the M2 (Junction 3) and the M20 (Junction 6). Follow signs to Borstal which will lead you into Priestfields. For more detailed directions, please see our website.
