Situated in 16 acres of grounds close to the amenities of Pickering, Barker Stakes Farm Lodges offer a superb base for families, walkers or guests on a fishing break to the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Guests can enjoy use of a great choice of onsite facilities including a games barn, outdoor children's play area and 800 yards of fly fishing (close season applies 1st October to 24th March). We also have friendly resident animals to meet including alpacas, goats, ponies, rabbits and Dexter cows.
These lodges offer one, two or three bedrooms and benefit from a modern open plan living area, solid oak flooring, an LCD TV, DVD player and leather sofas. Our one and two bedroom lodges are semi detached and all have been well designed to offer comfortable holiday accommodation.
Our Waterside Lodges are rated Bronze, Silver and Gold. All have a well appointed open plan living area, LCD TV, DVD player, leather sofa and the three bedroom Waterside Gold lodges have two bathrooms. Some overlook the pond and all offer lovely views over the surrounding country grounds.
Each lodge has an outdoor seating area and off road parking for at least one car.
The rental price includes bed linen, towels, electricity and gas central heating.
Short breaks of three or four nights may be available and changeover days are Friday or Monday. Special prices may apply at certain weekends. Check in time is between 4pm and 7pm although other times may be available by prior arrangement. Departure time is by 10.30am on your final day.
We accept two dogs per booking but please note that we don't allow bookings including Rottweilers, Dobermans, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Jack Russells or German Shepherds.

Barker Stakes Farm sits in 16 acres of grounds alongside the Pickering Beck and overlooking the beautiful moors. The nearby town is the end point of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and other attractions in the surrounding area include Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Castle Howard and Dalby Forest. York and the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby can be found twenty five miles away.
