Just east of Glastonbury, The Stickhouse Cottage is a beautiful self-catering property perfect for a family and great for short stays and lengthy holidays in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
The cottage is situated near the Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve, Glastonbury Abbey, historic Wells, Glastonbury Tor and family favourite Wookey Hole. It's a converted medieval barn still featuring exposed beams for character, and it's just one mile from the centre of Glastonbury complete with all the essentials and plenty of luxuries for a great stay in any season.
We offer free parking, internet access, great self catering facilities and a south facing communal garden for guests to enjoy.
The gallery kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, laundry facilities and all the necessary modern appliances, and the cottage has a living flame electric fire, under floor heating and dining facilities.
There is a large living room complete with comfortable sofas and entertainment facilities including a 40-inch Sony Internet TV and DVD player.
The Stickhouse has a double bedroom with adjoining shower room and WC. There is a gallery bedroom with a king-sized bed and with a double sofa bed ideal for two children. This room has an en-suite bathroom with shower facilities.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival and all bills are included in the property rental price. We can provide baby equipment including cots and highchairs on request.
Please note that the cottage is strictly non-smoking and we are unable to accommodate pets. We also have three further holiday cottages (one of which is pet friendly), a touring caravan park and camp site.
Please note that there is a minimum stay of 3 nights in this cottage and the weekly/fortnightly changeover day is either Friday or Monday.
1 mile from Glastonbury heading towards Shepton Mallet, after passing the first turn to Ashwell Lane the entrance can be found after a further 150 metres on the left.
