About this Holiday Cottage

Stopes Cottage is a semi detached cottage next to a lighthouse on the tip of Portland Bill near to Weymouth in Dorset. The cottagesleeps four people in one double bedroom, one twin room and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars, a lawned area and patio with furniture and ornamental fish pond and shared use of a heated outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Set in stunning surroundings, Stopes Cottage is a fabulous holiday cottage right on the Dorset cliffs.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with basin, 1 x twin with basin. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Separate basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with electric fire.

Calor gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games, CDs and DVDs. Fuel inc. in rent. Electricity charged by meter (first £10 inc. in rent). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking for cars and boats. Lawned area and patio with garden furniture and ornamental fish pond. Shared seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi (available May - September inclusive). Shared access to lighthouse observatory via steep steps. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 5 mins walk. Note: No children under 5 years due to ponds and proximity of cliff edge.

The village of Fortuneswell is on the 'Isle of Portland' peninsula, and is joined to the mainland via Chesil Beach. Fortuneswell boasts shops, pubs and restaurants with walking and climbing opportunities, watersports, and the harbour at Weymouth.
