Outside the cottage is off road parking for one car and an enclosed front garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Set between Windermere and the coast, Rose Cottage is a lovely cottage in a fabulous part of the country, ideal for touring the Lake District and Cumbria.

Witherslack lies beneath Whitbarrow Scar, in an area running from the shores of Lake Windermere. The village consists of traditional houses surrounded by unspoilt countryside. The coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange-over-Sands are worth a visit.
