Holiday homes don't get much more unique than Tenter Turret Cottage in Knaresborough. It's our stunning, modern holiday home that's built into the cliff face, complete with its own cave used as an external seating area. Our property's packed full of fantastic features, and it's just a few minutes from Knaresborough Railway Station and only four miles from Harrogate. Mother Shipton's Cave is a five-minute walk from the cottage, and the A1(M) can be reached in ten minutes by car.
The lounge includes a TV with Virgin service, DVD player and radio, and we've provided a dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with a range of facilities including a fridge freezer, a range cooker, laundry facilities and a microwave. This room also retains it period 200 year old flagged floor and there is a Belfast sink.
The property has a master double bedroom complete with a Juliet balcony offering river and castle views. There are two single bedrooms, and a further double includes an exposed brick wall. The bathroom contains a cast-iron clawfoot roll-top bath and a separate modern shower cubicle.
Our cottage has an unusual first-floor lawned garden and beautiful views over the River Nidd. Guests are welcome to bring a barbecue for use in the garden. The rooftop turret includes further outdoor seating. There is no parking provided but public parking can be found on Waterside.
Moments from our cottage, boats are available to hire for lazy days on the river. Pets are welcome, and we include a free wireless internet connection for guest's use. All fuel, linen and towels are included in the rental price. Families are welcome but please note that there is no cot or high chair at the property.
Harrogate can be found just four miles from Knaresborough. Train services offer easy connections to York and London.
A minimum stay of four nights applies. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
