Providing accommodation a short walk from the town centre, Thirsk Racecourse and the railway station, our Meadowcroft B&B in Thirsk itself is available for restful home-from-home holidays. We offer a selection of beautifully furnished, homely and modern rooms, and each morning we serve a delicious breakfast catering to your every need. Options include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfasts, and we offer a great selection of fresh juices, hot drinks, toast and bread items, fresh fruit and porridge, as well as traditional Yorkshire cooked breakfasts.
Our beautiful Meadowcroft B&B features three bedrooms to choose from, all with VI-Spring beds. Wharfedale has a superking bed and en-suite bathroom, Swaledale is available as a superking or a twin with a private bathroom and finally Skeldale has a double bed and en-suite bathroom. All three rooms have a wall-mounted TV, while Swaledale and Skeldale have DVD players as well. Our dining room, where you'll enjoy breakfast, looks out over our stunning rose garden. It also has a fridge for our guests to use, with a selection of cold soft drinks for purchase. Milk and mineral water are freely available.
During your stay at Meadowcroft you'll have use of free off-road parking facilities, and a wireless internet connection by arrangement. Check in is from 3pm, with check out at 10.30am. Directions from Thirsk Market square, exit the square in the direction of Ripon, drive past the Town Hall and Rural Arts on Left side of road. Turn left at the roundabout onto Topcliffe Road(B1448), we are approx 3 mins further up on the right hand side, drive entrance is opposite a large weeping willow tree. Directions from A1 Northbound, at Dishforth take the slip road directing you to Thirsk(A168 & B1448).Drive for approx 8 mins along A168 , take the slip road B1448 onto Topcliffe Road - continue along the road,crossing over a railway, after 4 minutes you enter the village of Sowerby, we are on the left hand side of the road, drive entrance is opposite a large weeping willow tree.
