The cottage has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. An additional guest can sleep on a provided extra single bed, to be kept in the double room. Guests share access to a modern bathroom with both shower and bath facilities.
The cottage is surrounded by farmland and lovely lakeland countryside. There is a patio area for breakfasting in the morning sun or BBQ’s. In a nearby field, families will find a play park to keep children amused.
The cottage is open all year round, with short breaks available mainly in the low season.
The village of Milnthorpe is a mile away, with a Booths supermarket, family butchers, health food shop, newsagent, banks, post office and a whole host of other useful shops.
Heversham is less than a mile from Dallam Deer Park, and Levens Hall with its topiary gardens and trust park with black fallow deer. There is also a beautiful walk up Heversham Head, a gentle hill that can be climbed directly from the cottage in as little as 20 minutes, with spectacular views of the estuary and Lakeland fells.
Ten minutes from the motorway and ten minutes from Kendal. Leave the M6 at Junction 36 if travelling from the north, or Junction 35 if travelling from the south. The cottage is in the centre of Heversham, 50 yards from the church.
