The Buttery is a Grade II listed, 15th century cottage in Maidstone. Sleeping up to six people, it's suitable for families with children, couples or a small group of friends. Dogs are welcome too, so no one's going to be left behind on this fantastic Kent holiday. The cottage itself has an interesting history behind it, starting life as a half a Wealden hall house and later serving as a buttery.
Close by is Leeds Castle (three miles away) and the historic Mote Park, only a few minutes' walk from the cottage.
On the ground floor of the cottage is an exquisite sitting room with wooden floors, a beamed ceiling, sofas and a TV. There's also a cosy open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped as you'd expect and included is a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, as well as cutlery and crockery.
The Buttery has room for six across three bedrooms: two double rooms and a bunk room suitable for two children. The lounge also has a double sofa bed for an extra two.
To the rear of the cottage is a garden with patio, furniture and a BBQ.
Up to two well behaved dogs welcome.
The changeover is Friday.
