Fisherman's Retreat is a genuine 16th century cottage on the Gower Peninsula. This beautiful coastal region is home to numerous beaches and coves, and there's ofplenty of opportunity for surfing, golf or seaside strolls. The Mumbles promenade is only minute's walk away and there are numerous fine dining restaurants, seaside pubs, art galleries and boutique shops to visit. There's also views of the 13th century Oystermouth Castle and Swansea Bay to enjoy from the property.
The cottage was recently renovated and it's ideal for a small family or two couples. Inside you'll find an open and airy living room with leather armchairs and a TV with DVD player. The newly renovated kitchen is located just behind and it allows the chef to interact with the rest of guests while rustling up something tasty to eat. A four-burner electric stove with oven, fridge and freezer, and all the pans, cutlery and crockery you'll need are provided.
Both bedrooms in the cottage are doubles, and the master room includes lovely views of Oystermouth Castle and Swansea Bay.
The bathroom features a sink, WC and bath with shower over.

The Fisherman's Snug is very easy to get to from anywhere in the UK. You simply get on the M4 and exit on the Swansea flyover (Junction 42). You then simply follow this road for about 20 minutes through Swansea and on to Mumbles. Once you pass the shops in Mumbles in about 50 meters turn right at the Hancock Pub onto Western Lane . Village Lane is the 1st right only 50 meters up the hill. Take a hard left hand turn (with care) and the Fisherman's Snug is the 3rd blue cottage on the right.
