Ellenborough House has a rich history. Built in the late 15th Century, the house was bought and renovated in 1831 by Edward Law, Earl of Ellenborough and former Governor General of India. Upon his death in 1871, the house was let to a series of tenants until sold in 1947 and became a private school for girls and now as it stands - AA 5 Star Hotel, Ellenborough Park.
The hotel is 1h30 from London Heathrow by car, 1h from Birminghah, Bristol, Oxford and Bath Accesible from London Paddington in 2h15 by train to Cheltenham Spa.
Cheltenham Spa is 15 minutes by car from the city centre to the hotel.
Leave Cheltenham on A46, take right onto A435, then left onto Hales Road B4075, right onto Deep Street B4632. Take left onto Southam Road towards Southam. Hotel 1 mile on left. 15 minutes from Junction 10 - M5.
