Haworth and a choice of Pennine towns and villages including Heptonstall, Hebden Bridge and Last of the Summer Wine's Holmfirth are just a short distance from Brook House. Also within easy reach is the world heritage site of Saltaire ,a monument to the wealth created from wool and weaving and home to a permanent exhibition by Yorkshire's world reknowned artist, David Hockney. The historic city of York is only an hours drive away where you can visit the Minster and famous Shambles, whilst Harrogate, Leeds and the the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, are even closer. We are ideal for golfers with the Halifax Club literally on our doorstep as is a host of footpaths and walkways and the stunning nature reserve of Ogden Water.
Brook House offers en-suite or private bathroom bedrooms, each beautifully decorated and with stunning open views over the countrside so loved by the Brontes. There are king size and super king double rooms and a cosy single bedroom available. Each bedroom offers the finest linen to ensure you enjoy a good nights sleep, dressing gowns and slippers, toiletries and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided for your use and each room has a flat screen TV with DVD player. After a busy day relax in our gracious drawing room with a roaring open fire for those winter days or fling open the patio doors and drink in the view with a nice cup of Yorkshire tea when the sun is shining. DVDs and books of English classics are available free of charge for use in the lounge or bedrooms. And breakfast can be taken either in our opulent dining room or on the patio, complete with hot tub for your use.
Breakfast is a wonderful affair with local organic produce including jams and local honey, fresh fruit, home cured bacon, free range eggs and Yorkshire smoked kippers. Tea and light snacks are offered in the private guest drawing room and a choice of light suppers can be ordered in our Japanese inspired dining room. WIFI internet access is available as is on site parking. Maps for walkers and tour guides for the wonderful historic towns and villages are available for your use. And a pick up and transport service is also offered. For those who are inspired by the Brontes a tour of their hidden world can also be arranged.

Brook House is off the main Keighley Road between Halifax and Keighley. Contact us for sat nav directions or head for the sign for the Halifax Golf Club on the main road, take Rocks Lane then turn left onto Lane Head Lane where you will find us at the bottom behind the iron gates.
