All of our bedrooms have king size or twin beds, duvets and Egyptian cotton sheets, LCD TV with Freeview, radio alarm with iPod docking and charging station and a hospitality tray. En-Suite facilities, include large double power showers, heated tiled floors, shaver point, heated towel rails laden with fluffy white towels, together with bath robes and toiletries. Most rooms have beamed ceilings and some have original Victorian fireplaces
Breakfast is served in our stylish dining room and we offer a varied and seasonal menu to choose from.
Please note that we do not accept pets. A minimum two night stay applies and one of our guest rooms can accommodate an extra two single good quality put up beds at an extra charge of £30 per person per night.
The Grange Guest House is nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Thornton Le Dale is some two miles East of Pickering on the main A170 towards Scarborough.
Travelling from the South follow signs to York, then take the A64 towards Malton / Scarborough then follow signs to Pickering / Whitby on the A169, Thornton Le Dale is signposted from this road. When travelling from the North, follow signs from Thirsk along the A170 to Pickering, travel through Pickering and onto Thornton Le Dale. From the North East follow signs to Thirsk or enjoy the coast road A171 down to Whitby then follow signs to Pickering A169 then left turn onto the A170 towards Scarborough and Thornton Le Dale.
The nearest rail station is at Malton, which is about a 15 minutes drive from The Grange. A service from York to Scarborough operates at regular intervals.
