Welcome to the Keld Knowle Farm! You will be warmly greeted at this working family dairy farm where you can enjoy nature and truly relax and unwind. Ideal for relaxing breaks, we are close to Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land and the North Yorks Railway. At Keld Knowle you can stay in one of our two comfortable holiday caravans and enjoy a self catering holiday for all the family.
We offer two caravans at Keld Knowle Farm: our superior holiday homes (35 ft by 12ft and 30ft by 12ft) are large and spacious with all new curtains and carpets. Each caravan sleeps 4, has a well equipped kitchen, a lounge and dining area, a bathroom with shower and communal laundry facilities. The holiday homes have digital TV and a CD player. All services are provided including linen, gas and electricity.
The caravans boast a quiet location with beautiful views across the wildlife pond and open countryside. Yet we’re only a 5 minute walk from the village of Wrelton with public transport and pubs serving home cooked food.
We also offer a caravan club certified location with both grass and hard standing touring pitches as well as a new special motor home pitch. There are electric hook ups for your convenience.
We also offer bed and breakfast at our farmhouse please view our website for more details.
The Keld Knowle Farm is nicely situated in the Vale of Pickering and on the border of the North York Moors National Park. Our locale makes us ideal for those wanting an active holiday with many walks into the national park starting right from the farm itself! For those wanting a more relaxing break you can get a real feel for farm life as you watch the cows come in to be milked, the calves being fed and the tractors at work in the fields. Pickering and Kirkbymoorside are only a short distance from the self catering accommodation. Visit the classic and historic Norman Pickering Castle and board the North Yorkshire Steam Railway at Pickering Station. York, Whitby and Scarborough are also within easy reach of the farm.
Sat Nav. Please note your sat nav will send you into the village. We are not in the village. Stay on the A170 from Pickering to Helmsley, as you by-pass the village of Wrelton on your right look over the fields to your left. Our farm stands back from the road with a long grey shed. If you go up the hill you have gone too far. From Helmsley, as you come down the hill look to your right, you will see the house and long grey shed over the field.
