Ael-y-Bryn is a small, private hotel located amongst three acres of grounds. The elevated position of the property means there stunning views of Cardigan Bay, Porthmadog and Llyn Peninsula to enjoy and it’s a few minutes to the sandy dunes of the beach. With rooms to suit everyone, families and couples are well catered for. Friendly Welsh hospitality, traditional cooking and a warm welcome await guests at the hotel which also has a restaurant and a bar. Free parking is provided.
The hotel has a choice of eight en-suite rooms and each has a digital TV with BT Sports, tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, complimentary sweets and a small bottle of either homemade sloe gin or port. It’s the little things that make a holiday memorable. A few of the more notable rooms include Room 3, often referred to as the ‘Bridal Suite’. It has a luxury four poster bed with drapes and a canopy overhead and panoramic views of Cardigan Bay. Room 6, on the first floor, has a pair double doors leading to a balcony – if you want the very best sea views, this should be your bedroom of choice. Families have Room 8 which sleeps three to four, while Room 9, also known as the ‘Cadbury’ room sleeps four to five.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and the restaurant also serves a host of traditional Welsh dishes, a traditional Sunday roast and mouth-watering specials.
