Welcome to the award-winning Dunoon Hotel, a handsome building in the seaside resort of Llandudno. With a host of antiques, oak panels and a mix of old world elegance and formality, this 50 bedroom hotel is perfect for single occupancies, couples, friends and families. Staff are on hand to provide service that's attentive and personal, rather than overbearing and fussy. Every provision is made to ensure guests have their needs and wishes met.
The hotel has fifty en-suite rooms available and there's not a trouser press in sight. Rooms come equipped with: crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowcases, fluffy white towels, and complimentary Molton Brown toiletries. Bedrooms also have a flat screen television and a kettle; unlike other hotels, we don't feel the need to over-glamorise 'tea and coffee making facilities'.
Superior - Available with either twin or double beds.
Standard Plus - Slightly smaller than superior rooms but still fairly spacious.
Single - Often the first rooms to sell out. Single occupants have a choice of rooms with single beds or four small doubles.
Family - One family room available which comfortably sleeps four.
Breakfast is included in the rate.
Sample dinner and Sunday lunch menus can be found on the website. Only the best and freshest locally sourced ingredients are used.
Private car park available.
Weddings, civil partnerships, christenings, birthdays, reunions and more can all be catered for.
The hotel has a lift which services every floor.
A dedicated disabled room is available with a specially adapted bathroom. Many of the other rooms are suitable for wheelchair users who have help. On the ground floor is a unisex toilet with grab rails and low, wall-mounted sink.
Doors, entrances and corridors are all wide enough for wheelchairs, pushchairs and zimmer frames.
Dinner, bed and breakfast rates are also available.
Small dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, charged at £10 per night.
Children's rates apply to under 16s when staying with at least two paying adults. There's no charge for under 11s to stay.
Turn off the A55 North Wales Expressway at Jct 19 and follow the A470 into Llandudno. After passing Asda on your left, move into the right hand lane and turn right where the road forks sharply. After passing the retail park, the road forks sharply.
Head straight on to the promenade. Turn left and follow the promenade until you come to a T-junction. Turn left, and cross the first roundabout into Gloddaeth Street. The Dunoon is 200 yards or so on the right, just after the second roundabout. Our car park is behind Dunoon Lodge, 30 yards up from the hotel on Clement Avenue.
