Welcome to The Inn at Grinshall near Shrewsbury. Set in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, our charming Grade II listed restaurant and hotel is a former coaching inn which has been sympathetically restored with a mix of traditional and contemporary decor. Enjoy a fine range of cuisine from our a la carte and bistro menus and we also have six overnight guest rooms ideal for leisure visitors to the area. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Shrewsbury can be found a short drive to the south and we are also close to Whitchurch, Oswestry, Telford and Market Drayton. We offer an onsite car park and our local train station at Yorton offers easy access for those arriving by public transport.
Our six king-size guest rooms are all individually style with understated decor and feature sumptuous beds, a modern ensuite and a concealed flat screen TV. We have a range of double or twin rooms and an extra bed can be provided for a child on request at an extra charge of £35. Enjoy a choice of innovative cuisine in our elegant fine dining restaurant or relax in our bright Garden Room which overlooks our grounds, trickling fountain and conservatory. In the summer months, you can also dine al fresco in our pretty rose garden which is ideal for families, couples and walkers with dogs. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a special Sunday lunch also served. Our seasonal range of dishes are created from the finest locally sourced ingredients and we also serve an eclectic choice of wine to accompany your meal. Guests are also welcome to relax with a drink in our panelled bar where a roaring open fire is lit in winter and we serve a Bistro menu which is available at both lunch and dinner times. Dogs are welcome in our bar area.
Bespoke private parties including wedding receptions are welcome and we are set just a short walk from our beautiful village church.
