All of these bedrooms have en- suite bathrooms and are furnished to a high standard. Included in the rooms are flatscreen Freeview- enabled TVs, telephones, FREE Wi-Fi access and a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, between 8am and 9.30am.
Choose from cereals, tropical fruits, porridge and yoghurts. The tasty cooked breakfast consists of bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausages, hash browns, baked beans and fried bread. For vegetarians, there's also the option of Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages. Gluten free options are available by arrangement.
Lighter options include a boiled egg, poached egg, scrambled egg & smoked salmon with toast, or kippers with lemon.
Ground filter Arabica coffee and Ringtons Leaf Tea is served while guests are waiting for their cooked breakfast to be prepared.
Strictly no smoking. Check in from 2 pm. Check out by 10am. There is a small onsite car park for guests use, and can accommodate up to 5 cars. Additional on street parking is available.
A deposit of the cost of the first night's stay is required to confirm your booking, and is non- refundable. We recommend that guests take out travel insurance to cover themselves in the event of a cancellation.
Our restaurant serves starters, main meals and desserts, and offers seasonal and specials menus. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment, sample menus can be found on our website.

The seaside town of Whitby is popular with holidaymakers, thanks to the vast sandy beaches and various attractions.
Guests may like to visit the Pannett Park Museum and Art Gallery, The RNLI Lifeboat Museum, Spa Pavilion or Captain Cook Memorial Museum. Rail enthusiasts simply must take a trip on the North Yorks Moors steam railway which runs between Whitby and Pickering, through the scenic Esk Valley. There are also a number of designated boat and bus tours.
The hotel itself is situated just a short stroll from the Whitby Pavilion, Cliff Lift, West Cliff attractions and swimming pool. Access to the bustling town centre is achieved via the famous Whalebone Arch overlooking the piers and harbour entrance where you can explore the taverns and restaurants and browse the quirky shops.
Arriving via A171 e.g. from Cumbria, Newcastle & Middlesbrough: Head east on the A171/ Guisborough Rd towards Whitby. When approaching Whitby go across 1 roundabout continuing on the A171, towards Whitby (0.4 miles.) Slight left onto B1460 at the Victoria Garden Centre. Look out for brown signs for West Cliff (0.7 miles.) Slight left onto Castle Rd/B1460 approaching Lidl Supermarket on the right (0.2 miles.) Immediately after the Spar Garage turn left onto Love Lane/B1416 (0.3 miles.) At the roundabout, turn right crossing over the stone bridge – this is White Bridge Rd/A174 (0.2 miles.) As you pass the “Parade” of shops (Cost Cutter/Post Office, etc.) turn left onto White Point Rd. The road bears right onto the North Promenade sea-front. The Seacliffe Hotel is on your right, immediately after the Bungalow.
