Weavers Cottage is a terraced cottage on the main high street in the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in the Dumfries and Galloway countryside. With two double bedrooms (one with a dressing room and the other with an ensuite) and a twin room, this cottage can sleep six people. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a spacious garden with a patio area, outdoor furniture, a BBQ and roadside parking. Ideal for discovering this beautiful part of Scotland, Weavers Cottage is sure to delight all visitors to the region.


Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with dressing room, 1 king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor cloakroom with washing machine, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen. Dining room/reception room. Sitting room with woodburner.

Around and About

The small town of Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth in the midst of Dumfries & Galloway with sandy beaches just a five minute drive away. There are several shops in the town including a small supermarket, chemist, bank and post office, along with a kilt making centre and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities and welcome children.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
