From the A1 North and South take the A170 directly in to the centre of Helmsley.

At the roundabout in Helmsley take the 3rd exit onto Bondgate/A170.

Take the first right on to Pottergate and then again the first right on to a narrow private driveway which leads up to a terrace of four cottages on your right.

Red Grouse Cottage is the furthest end of terrace and the allocated parking space is clearly marked on the gravel to the side of the terrace.

You are able to pull up in front of the cottage in order to unload the car.
