About Highgate House
Highgate House is a country house set amongst rolling countryside in the picturesque Northamptonshire village of Creaton. Originally a coaching inn, it has evolved over the years into a superb venue ideal for all kinds of business and social events. It is conveniently located near the M1, M6 and A14 and sits in very close proximity to the historic Althorp House and the site of the Battle of Naseby.
It has 97 bedrooms, some of which are located in the original building - the majority are housed in areas across the estate. All are individually decorated with en-suite bathrooms.

Food and leisure
The venue s Terrace Restaurant is run by Head Chef, Lee Gaskins, who was crowned Northamptonshire Chef of the Year 2013/14 (having previously held the same title in 2011/12). The restaurant is open every evening for dinner between 7pm - 9:30pm (reservations are recommended at time of booking). There is also a selection of stunning dining rooms available for private hire in the main house.
The venue also has a good range of leisure facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and tennis courts. There is also over 26 acres of grounds which can be explored on foot or by bike (the venue has a small number of mountain bikes which are available for complimentary hire).
What s on nearby
Walkers, cyclists and horse riders can take advantage of the nearby Brampton Valley Way, a 14 mile track surrounded by beautiful scenery and rich in natural and historical heritage.
There s also Brixworth Country Park, located 5 minutes away which offers plenty of open spaces ideal for ball games, kite flying and dog walking. Cyclists can hire bikes and pedal their way around Pitsford water and children can enjoy one of two great playgrounds and explore the trail of the last gnomes of England.
For gardeners, there s the fantastic Coton Manor Gardens which is situated just five minutes away, especially famous for its 5 acre bluebell woods in June and July. The gardens also have a delightful café ideal for light lunches and teas.
For those who enjoy market town shopping, the bustling historic town of Market Harborough is just up the road - offering a great mix of small boutique shops and high street names (including the Joules brand which was established there). There are also plenty of restaurants and coffee shops.
