Welcome to The Burton Hotel in Kington. Situated in this small market town close to the Welsh border, our attractively modernised coaching inn is ideal for walkers exploring the Offa's Dyke pathway, golfers or families and couples looking for a relaxing stay in the Herefordshire countryside.
All of our guest rooms are well equipped with Freeview TV, black out curtains, tea/ coffee making facilities, a work desk, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries and direct dial phone. Each also has an ensuite/ private facility with a shower and some guest rooms have a bath with shower. Cots can be provided for children. We have single rooms for solo travellers plus double and twin rooms, a four poster room and family accommodation for up to two adults and two children.
Our restaurant is open seven days a week from 8am to 9.30pm. We serve a delicious cooked breakfast from 8am to 9.30am each day which is charged at £7.50 per person for non-residents. In addition, we have a bar menu, a la carte restaurant menu and a Sunday carvery. Private parties are welcome.
Guests are also welcome to relax with a drink in our large lawn garden with plenty of seating provided.
A day visit is charged at £16 per person and includes use of the pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym with half hour personal training on equipment. We also offer a weekend family pass for the swimming pool for two adults and two children which costs £18. A range of spa and beauty treatments are also available at an extra charge and pre-booking is essential.
Single occupancy stays are accepted and our family room can sleep two adults and two children, two adults and one child or three adults. We are pet friendly by prior arrangement.
Situated in Kington close to the Wales/ England border, nearby towns include Wye on Rye, Hereford and Llandrindod Wells. There is also a choice of ten golf courses closeby and we are well placed for walkers exploring the Offa's Dyke path or the Brecon Beacons National Park. Guests can also enjoy pony trekking, fishing, paragliding, motor rallying and nature watching in the surrounding area.
